Hit an Ace at Lunchtime DCG

Basket 5 at Lunchtime DCG is a short hole with Lots of OB. Threw a Star Mako on slight anny to try to keep it over land most of the flight, usually skidding up the sidewalk for a bird. Felt great right out of hand, and ½ way down fairway thought it could go in. Yelled "ACE" when it hit chains. Got yelled congrats from people on 6,7,11.

Didn't even need to putt.

Also happens to be the first hole I ever aced, back in 2014 with an R-Pro Cro.

Basket Strategy: Hole 2 Lunchtime

My thoughts on playing Hole 2 at Lunchtime DCG in Portland, Oregon.

This hole plays across a fairly steep hillside with the uphill on your right. The tee is at the bottom and the shot requires you to gain roughly 40ft of elevation to reach the baskets. There is an OB road long left at the bottom of the hill, that usually only comes into play from long skipping hyzers or horrible rollouts. There is also an OB parking lot over the crest of the hill, but you should never be shanking that hard.

Basket Strategy: Hole 1 Lunchtime

My thoughts on playing Hole 1 at Lunchtime DCG in Portland, Oregon.

This is one of the shorter holes on the course, but also one of the most variable because of the wind, OB, and rollaway green. There is OB parking lot along the beginning of the right side and OB long left across a fence line, making for a tight early fairway. This hole usually has a strong headwind blowing up the face of the hill.
